GOLF STAR NELLY KORDA GOT EMOTIONAL DURING MISSED CUT

It's not easy on the golf course for anybody. Every golfer, no matter how talented they are, has missed cuts and lost tournaments. And Nelly Korda's performance at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship this weekend was proof positive of that.

As Korda hit a shot and realized that her time at Sahalee Country Club was likely coming to a premature end, the 25-year-old world No. 1 began tearing up as she walked the course to find her ball.

Viewers reacted to her emotion online.

"Trying my best not to hate on this but my lord be a competitor, save it for the locker room," a user replied.

"She is such a class act, it's tough to see her struggle," another said.

"Literally me after 17 and 18 yesterday when I was sitting at 74 with 2 holes to play and finished with a 91," a fan sobbed.

"The 30 handicaps calling her soft but think it's sick to break a club mid round is astonishing," another person pointed out.

"Wearing her passion on her sleeves because she cares. Until you have the courage to enter the arena and put all your vulnerabilities on display for the world to see, you truly cannot understand. Keep pushing @NellyKorda."

It obviously wasn't a great couple of days for Korda but she'll grow from it. Nelly will attempt to bounce back in a few weeks at The Amundi Evian Championship in France.
