EVERYONE MADE SAME JOKE ABOUT STEPHEN A. SMITH DURING NBA DRAFT

Stephen A. Smith went viral several times during the first round of the NBA Draft on Wednesday night, and it wasn't because the charismatic personality was dishing out elite analysis.

Unfortunately, there were too many occasions where Smith had zero knowledge about the player drafted. Perhaps his biggest blunder was when the New York Knicks selected Pacome Dadiet. It was pretty apparent he had no idea what just happened.

With that said, several NBA fans called out Smith on Wednesday night for his lack of preparation.

"ESPN got Stephen A. Smith on ABC covering the draft knowing this dude doesn’t know a thing about any of these players," one person said.

Another person tweeted, "Mel Kiper analyzing 7th round picks - 'Here’s a D3 OL at Pick 242 and he’s a grinder, can do it all but has short arms, overall really sneaky pick.' Stephen A Smith analyzing 1st round picks - 'I’ve never heard of this man in my life.'"

"The most confusing pick of the NBA draft so far: ESPN picking Stephen A. Smith to cover it," a third person wrote.

Smith is undoubtedly one of the most polarizing figures in his field. And make no mistake about it, he deserves a ton of credit for building his brand over the years.

At the end of the day though, ESPN looked foolish having Smith skate his way through the first day of the draft without a care in the world about the prospects on the board.
