ACES ROOKIE KATE MARTIN SHARES SPECIAL POSTGAME MOMENT WITH NFL PLAYER

Las Vegas Aces rookie Kate Martin shared a cool moment with A.J. Epenesa after Friday night's game.

The Buffalo Bills defensive end gave Martin a jersey of his while Martin returned the favor after the game finished up.

Take a look:

Both players went to Iowa for their collegiate play so getting to see them trade jerseys is a really cool experience.

Martin was a second-round pick out of Iowa during the 2024 WNBA Draft and is averaging four points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game this season. She finished Friday's game with two points, though only played eight minutes.

Still, her team got the win over the Connecticut Sun and are now 8-6 overall this season.

Epenesa was also a second-round pick, though he was drafted in 2020. He's been in the NFL for four seasons and finished the 2023 season with 20 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, two interceptions, and eight passes defended.

For his career, he has appeared in 58 games, compiling 64 tackles, 15.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two interceptions, and 15 passes defended.

The Bills won't get their season started until September while the Aces will take on the Chicago Sky in their next game this Thursday.
