LANE KIFFIN FIRES BACK AT ESPN'S PAUL FINEBAUM

Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin and ESPN's Paul Finebaum appear to be feuding.

It all started with Finebaum telling Berry Tramel of Tulsa World that he doesn't find Kiffin very funny.

"Everyone in the media, Berry, we're on the older statesman side of it, is in love with Lane Kiffin," Finebaum said. "They think he's hilarious. I don't think he's that funny. I don't think his tweets are that interesting."

Kiffin fired back at Finebaum this Wednesday on X, formerly known as Twitter. He questioned why the longtime sports commentator was so bothered by his personality.

"Why so angry Paul? I think you’re funny," Kiffin wrote. "Also ⁦ @Vol_Baseball ⁩ won the Natty!!! How can you be in such a bad mood??"

Well, we can't say we're too surprised by this feud. Kiffin is one of the most vocal coaches in all of sports, and obviously we know Finebaum isn't afraid to call out anyone.

We'd like to say Kiffin's tweet should mark the end of this rivalry, but with the 2024 season almost here, Finebaum will probably take a jab or two at Ole Miss.

Speaking of Ole Miss, it'll kick off the new season on Aug. 31 against Furman.
