MAJOR SHAKEUP IN COLLEGE BASEBALL'S LATEST TOP 25 RANKINGS

Now that the dust has settled from last weekend's games, On3 has updated its college baseball rankings. Texas A&M is no longer considered the No. 1 team in the nation.

Due to the team's lackluster performance against LSU last weekend, Texas A&M dropped to the No. 3 spot in the rankings. Tennessee and Kentucky managed to leapfrog Jim Schlossnagle's club.

Kentucky may have had the most impressive weekend, defeating Arkansas in a three-game series. The main reason Tennessee got the top spot is because it has a better record (40-9) than Kentucky (35-10).

Here's the latest top 10:

  1. Tennessee
  2. Kentucky
  3. Clemson
  4. Texas A&M
  5. Arkansas
  6. East Carolina
  7. Florida State
  8. Oregon State
  9. North Carolina
  10. Duke

While the shakeup inside the top 10 is the main takeaway, it's also worth noting that a few teams that haven't been ranked before cracked the top 25.

Troy, UC Santa Barbara and Southern Miss are a few of the teams that finally entered the top 25 this week.

The full top 25 can be viewed here. Make no mistake about it, there'll be another shakeup in the near future.
